Market Mood

Eurozone inflation eased in September, falling below the ECB’s 2% target, but economic growth has slowed, with Germany likely facing a recession. As a result, the ECB is expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points, with another cut anticipated by year-end. In the U.S., retail sales and industrial production data suggest continued manufacturing weakness, though consumer spending remains strong. In China, the economy is projected to grow at an annual rate of 5.0% for the third quarter, slightly higher than the previous quarter's 4.7%.
